Mr. Fuerst has over twenty-five years of financial experience in the residential property management industry. He is responsible for all aspects of Metro’s in-house financial services, the supervision of the accounting and bookkeeping staff, and preparing, presenting, and monitoring the annual budgets for the managed portfolio’s Cooperative, Condominium and Rental properties. Mr. Fuerst also supervises the preparation of the monthly financial reports.
Mr. Fuerst invests building reserve funds and serves as a liaison between building Accountants, Board Presidents, Treasurers and building Owners on various financial matters.
In addition to overseeing the preparation of the annual budgets for Metro’s Cooperatives and Condominiums, he works closely with board Treasurers and Owners in monitoring these budgets to assure each property is operating within its budget. When situations arise, he creates plans to finance large capital projects and presents these ideas to the responsible parties.
Prior to joining Metro Management, Mr. Fuerst was employed at Jerome Belson Associates, Inc.
